LOTUR BARK:
Lodh Pathani (Lotur Bark) also known as Symplocos Racemosa Roxb is a well-known Unani herb. It is mainly used in the manufacturing of many herbal medicines. As a single herb, the therapeutic uses of Lodh Pathani include bleeding disorders such as hemoptysis, ulcers, earaches, peptic ulcers, diarrhea, and, eye disorders such as blurred vision and conjunctivitis. There are lots of female health problems that can be treated with the use of Lotur Bark benefits including gonorrhea, leucorrhoea, breast diseases, uterine bleeding, heavy menstrual bleeding, and menstrual disorders.

Useful in abnormal uterine secretion and atony of the uterus. Also useful in cases of leucorrhoea and menorrhagia due to relaxation of the uterine tissue. It also finds its use in treating elephantiasis. Being a mild astringent, it is given in the treatment of diarrhoea, dysentery, bleeding piles and liver complaints.
